Acceptable, if you don’t mind the author claiming that sound is an electromagnetic wave, confusing prokaria with eukaria, and making other scientific errors. Call me a perfectionist, but I _do_ mind hearing such small errors, even if they don’t affeect the story.
And of course, “aliens did it” for everything from crop circles to pyramids.
I wouldn’t say it’s intolerably bad, but I’ll skip this author’s books.
